Very troublesome & overall rough experience. There was confusion on which shipping line will be used - was promised Maersk Line in the quote but as soon as my belongings were half packed, I was told it will be some other shipping company which kept changing, Ultimately they used much inferior PIL and then demanded I pay an extra amount as it was shipped by PIL (instead of Maersk).
Delivery schedule kept changing and was delayed by a month more than promised.
Packing of fragile decorative items was bad (just wrapped with single paper sheet - leading to breakage of many crystal items.
Their partner OSS forced me to pay extra money for bad access before delivery whereas they parked their truck right at the entrance of the building.
Did not assemble the basic furniture and demanded extra for their assembly (despite it being clearly written in quote) - this was however resolved after 2 further weeks when their handyman assembled the basic furniture.
Overall a very stressful, troublesome and costly experience.Read more

Furniture was not assembled at Sydney as promised in the quote in the first instance - it was eventually done after 2 weeks after constant follow ups

Excellent service from Allied Logistics. We moved a family of 4 from Muscat to the UK and required a 40ft container. Allied and their UK partners handled the entire process, door to door, seamlessly. Would highly recommend. Their rates may be slightly higher than others, but you get what you pay for, and we have gone cheap before, which was a complete and utter nightmare! #UseAllied
